Your vote has consequences.

When you pull that lever, you might think that it is one vote among millions, how much can it possibly count? This piece shows that every vote counts. George Bush is no friend of conservatives any more than he is a friend of liberals. He is the corporate president, as he stated early on, prior to 9/11. Remember, he said he thought he could run the Federal Government on a 3-day workweek schedule.

Where do you think his priorities lay?

Local votes matter, too. Scream and yell for mandatory sentencing (get those damn hippies/druggies/commies!) and you'll end up putting a couple of guys who made a split-second mistaken decision behind bars for years.

But this is all due to one fact: radical right/left wing politics makes for a situation that is untenable for all.

And somebody has to pay for that mistake.
