No Illegals, No Burritos: No Kidding?

You better think twice, America.

Sounds like a threat. And quite possibly the strongest argument we’ve seen in support of illegal immigration.

No Immigrants, No Burritos
Demonstrator Lubian Piedras holds up a sign while wearing a sombrero at a planned protest in San Diego, California May 1, 2006. In what organizers called ‘A Day Without Immigrants,’ rallies across the country closed hundreds of restaurants, shops and factories. Construction projects were disrupted, day labor jobs went begging, children stayed home from school and waves of humanity poured through city streets. (REUTERS/Fred Greaves)

You can’t make this stuff up. And thanks to the MSM, we don’t have to.

I like burritos, but, I am able to make them myself. No problem. In fact, when I make them myself, they are much better, and healthier.

  2. California Conservative Says:

    Muy bien!

  3. Sunanta Says:

who care? my Thai food is much better and cleaner than burritos and so many different food in this country that can make me hungry. Do they think their burritos can keep them here illegal?

  4. Melissa Says:

Gee, Sunanta, I don’t think he literally meant burritos will save them. People take for granted certain items and services that wouldnt be so readily available if it werent for illegal immigrants. Who do you think picked some of those fruits and vegetables you use to make your thai food?

  5. California Conservative Says:

Who picked them before we had Mexicans, Melissa?

Furthermore, why do you assume that the only people willing to work are “illegal immigrants”? Ask yourself that question next time you pass by some indigent begging for money on the street.

  6. Ceira Says:

Melissa - American’s can no longer afford to do those jobs because the “illegal immigrants” have drove wages down so low that they could not survive. Unless, of course, the workers all pack into one house!!!!

  7. Melissa Says:

Illegal immigrants are hardly a 21st century issue, they have been around for decades. Doesn’t anyone wonder why Mexicans are suddenly such a popular scapegoat? Could it possibly be a diversionary tactic from such current problems like the war, the budget deficit and declining presidential popularity. Its like all the world’s problems stem from Mexicans and homosexuals. Ahh, life must be so easy being so narrow-minded…
