CNN Denies Doctoring Bush Picture to Create Hell Ambiance
CNN says they have no explanation for a recent picture they used of George Bush that showed the President with horns and a pitchfork sitting in what looked to be the depths of Hell.
“Might be some technical problems,” said Ken Hughes, Head Technician for the Ted Turner-owned news channel. “But more likely, we’re just capturing the truly wicked aura of the President with our special high powered evil-lens.”
Democrats seized the opportunity to address the President’s conservative base.
“We want to reach out to the President’s supporters, who, I’m sure, are horrified to learn that their leader is Satan,” said Barbara Boxer. “We want to remind them that Satan is evil, and evil is bad, so their president must be bad. I might be going out on a limb here, but supporting him probably guarantees you eternity in Hell, no? Isn’t that how you people think?”
John Kerry immediately flew to the Vatican for Papal Advice.
“I’m not supporting Christianity or Satanism,” he explained before leaving. “I’m merely trying to save the American people from a non-denominational form of evil, not unlike the way I saved my fellow soliders from the Vietcong, who were mostly freedom fighters, except for the couple that I shot, who were freedom fighters having a crappy day. I will go to the Pope as the Atheist-Catholic that I espoused to be in the last election.”
