The first reason to vote for anyone is that they will take care of that entrusted them, namely protection of the country and wise use of taxes allowed by we, the people.

The second reason should be that, besides talking about such things as "family values", "traditional marriage", being "pro-life", they should LIVE their lives in a way that exemplifies those values.

All too often we end up with people like the guv'ner of SC who wouldn't know a moral value if it slapped him upside the head with a two-by-four, and that's exactly the kind of hypocritical jerk we don't need, now or in the future, to lead us out of the immoral morass we have allowed the libs and leftists to lead us into.

And the fault is primariliy ours - we keep voting those jelloed marshmallows back into office.

Republican leaders need to show more than leadership;
they need to show some vision and give people a reason to vote for them.

A word of caution, though. Any Republican who even hints of having any ethical standards and doesn't live them may as well just go on down to the corner meat market right now, 'cause that's where they wind up after the "no-standards lefties" get through with them

I hope this is only Jindal's initial blast at the current Republican hierarchy. Lord knows the useless logs at the RNC have done absolutely nothing to be praised for, but if they were to remove themselves and let people who really believe in Republican principles and lived them take over, a revitalized party would have a year to regain control of Congress and seven years to prepare for the topple of what will surely be the last democratically elected president if Obama succeeds in reelection.
