And with the present administration, it ain't gonna get any better soon. She was born in Taiwan under the Japanese occupation and, of course didnt have a valid State of California, or Mexican birth certificate. What she did have was a Taiwanese Passport, and an ID card issued by the Chaing Kai Chek regime, in Chinese, giving two names, her born name and her required Japanese name. This was clearly a situation not within the abilities of not only her case worker, but her supervisor as well. We had to send the ID card to an office with a Chinese interpreter.
