Apparently saving the planet means its okay to send billions of our cash to places like Bahrain and Qattar to build skyscrapers a half a mile up on man made islands of commerce in the once pristine Persian Gulf, now so polluted the only fish you can see are scavengers like ramorah and billions of jellyfish. Either that or the Persian Gulf is no longer considered part of the "planet".

My grandma lives in Bonham, TX and I have friends in Austin and Houston. You have a beautiful state and the people there have not completely lost their sanity yet. Enjoy!

Tag obviously is not a biblical scholar. What God said, basically, is I've created the earth and everything you need. It's now up to you to use it, and use it wisely.

Seems to me that putting 90% of everything off-limits is not only not using it and not using it wisely, it's telling God He doesn't know beans, that man in all his glory is far more intelligent and wiser.

Man, I'd sure hate to be in that sucker's birks on the Day of Judgement!

Re: anneke
Here in Texas, as far as the envirnoment is concern ?(HUGE RANCHES, LARGE FARMNING COMMUNITIES, ECT, ) we are our "own" stewards of the lands, becaue we live here everyday on our 40 acres or 20,000 acres or KING RANCH (1,000,000 MILLION ACRES) , SO I belive we don't need the EPA, (PELOSIS, REID, ECT.) ET. AL.! TO TELL US HOW TO OPEN A GATE!!!!
AND RAISE CATTLE AND GROW FOOD!!!!

Stay in S.F. , C.A. and enjoy your wine or what every makes y'all (Texas Language!) happy, but you are more than Welcome to Come and Visit!

South Texas Snowbirds love the winter down here! ( Global Warming?) Al Gore Iditos!!!!

HAVE NICE DAY!

PEACE & LOVE!

My Older sister drum that phrase into me at a young age!

Nice Pharse if not over used!

I'd really like to see some in-depth analysis on how this scenario is playing in the rest of America. Living in CA, especially in the Bay Area, I'm in the pro-environmentalism echo chamber. I feel that I don't have a good sense of what the rest of the country is thinking. For example, the Sierra Club is running radio campaign commercials for Jerry McNerney, Representative of the 11th District, touting his stance against evil Big Oil and against offshore drilling. If national opinion has shifted in favor of increased drilling for oil as polls seem to show, those in favor must be from places outside the Bay Area. The Sierra Club knows that they have the Bay Area in their pocket.
