It's too late to do anything about it this midterm, and I will hold my nose and vote for a spineless weasel if I have to, but now's the time to take over the local organizations, who can then take over the regionals, who can then direct some of the existing nationals to the door and get some people who care for their nation in control of the party. But that's got to happen NOW, not next year, because the longer Mikey and the gang are in control of everything the harder it's going to be to wrest control of such things as finances and endorsements, and you know it makes their skin crawl every time they have to endorse someone who loves this country and the Constitution.

I know you heard what I said, but Im not sure what you think I said is what I meant.
I think your beating a dead horse, Carlos. Its not a leadership problem as much as it is an ideological split inside the party itself between the old go along to get along crowd, and the Reagan wing. Much as I like the tea party movement, I very much worry, that it could be led to follow another Ross Perrot, or form a third party, because if that happens; they win, we loose. Id much rather see the Tea party endorse candidates of any party that has their head screwed on right and has good chance of winning.

Hate to disagree with you, USN, but I see the biggest problem of the Republicans being their "leadership", and their almost insane drive to become as much like a "jackass lite" party as they can. You know the kind - "We'll only do HALF as much damage as the Democrats!" is their favorite line.

That doesn't work for me, and by polling doesn't work for most members of the Republican Party. But try to convince those who would rather be loved by the MSM than do what's right.

Never underestimate the propensities for Democrats to over reach,
and the Republicans to screw up a 3 minute egg.

The two biggest monkey wrenches to a Republican victory reamin some half assed conservative 3rd party attempt, and their own ineptitude.
