In what might turn into a case of ‘be careful what you ask for because you might just get it’, Nancy Pelosi has asked for an ethics investigation into the Abramoff Scandal or, to be more accurate, into Republicans caught in Abramoff’s web.

Earlier this afternoon, I called Speaker Hastert’s office to voice my thoughts that, if they’re investigating Republicans for corruption charges, then they should make it an investigation into both parties. I strongly encourage everyone to call either their congressman or woman or Speaker Hastert’s office demanding that this potential investigation be for both parties, not just against ‘evil Republicans’.

If Ms. Pelosi wants to talk about a “culture of corruption” on a daily basis, then she’s gonna have to deal with the corruption that’s found on her side of the aisle. What’s good for the goose…
