Here’s the first vote totals that I’ve seen:

Counted: 57 of 500 precincts – 11.4 percent
BRIAN BILBRAY - REP 20448 50.60%
FRANCINE BUSBY - DEM 17329 42.88%

Counted: 66 of 500 precincts – 13.2 percent
BRIAN BILBRAY - REP 21602 50.33%
FRANCINE BUSBY - DEM 18560 43.24%
UPDATE: At 2:12am, Fox News called the race, with “Brian Billbray getting 50 percent and Francine Busby getting 45 percent with 79 percent of the precincts reporting.”
That doesn’t mean that the Democrats won’t be out in force Wednesday morning telling us that this proves that scandals are dragging the GOP down and that this is a forewarning of things to come.
Don’t believe a word of it, though, because this is one that the Democrats wanted so bad they could taste it.

CA-50 Results Coming In
California is starting to report the returns from their special election today.
As of 10:30 pm, Busby (D) has 12,036 votes, and Bilbray (R) has 11,071. Just over 11% of precincts are reporting.

Looks like the numbers are adding up to where the minor players aren’t dragging down their percentages much anymore… Will be nice to see 50+% when it’s all said and done so the DNC ‘Talking Points’ don’t have much to hang their hat on (except that 2+ million hangover).

The reason Francine the Democrat didnot win was because of illegal aliens. The american people want you democrat’s to listen. The message is we will not vote for you no matter what if you are for President Bush’s amnesty, and oviously most of you are.
