Dean Denounces Missouri Voter ID Law
Proving yet again that Democrats are the ‘Voter Fraud Party’, DNC Chairman Howard Dean issued this statement:
“Once again Republicans have succeeded in their efforts to disenfranchise lawful voters. This time Republicans in Missouri have enacted a restrictive law that would require eligible voters to present a state issued photo ID when going to the polls to vote. Current law allows voters to present other forms of ID including utility bills, bank statements, or a paycheck. To justify these restrictive measures, Republicans are falsely claiming that voter fraud continues to be a big problem.
“This law is so restrictive that eligible voters will be denied access to the polls even if they present a voter registration card. To make matters worse voter ID laws also disproportionately affect rural voters, seniors, minorities, disabled voters and young people who often have a harder time obtaining a state issued photo identification.
“Democrats believe that we should be making it easier not harder for all Americans to exercise the right to vote. For years voters have gone to the polls and voted without photo ID and there has been no evidence of wide-spread voter fraud. Instead of working to disenfranchise legally eligible voters Republicans should join Democrats in expanding and protecting the rights of all Americans to vote.”
Mr. Dean must not think that illegal aliens with fake social security cards and who pay their utility bills exist. Otherwise, we’d have to believe that Dean thinks that illegal aliens should have the right to vote.
Without the President’s ‘Swipe Card’ protection, how can we know that that isn’t happening in Missouri? It seems to me that Dean doesn’t know, or at least doesn’t have proof, that the people without a picture ID are legal voting citizens. Ergo, he can’t prove that Republicans are disenfranchising even a single voter. And no, I won’t take his word on it.
The other explanation is that Dean is an old-fashioned ‘Dailey Democrat’ who believes in the voter fraud made famous in Chicago in the 60’s.

Hialing from Washington State, home of the “count ‘em until we win” gubernatorial election of ‘04, I’ve first hand experience with those type of voter “irregularities”. It seems to be a standard MO for some. King county is tightly controlled by the Dems. That is the most populous county in the state and where a majority of the necessary votes for a Democratic victory were found by the third count. This type of vote coutn adjustment is so much easier if the voters are able to be from other countries or the pennitentary. I’m sure that’s just how the DNC would like it.

Goodbye Photo I.D.? Hello Voter Fraud
It is not asking too much that a voter bring photo identification to the polls to prove his or her identity — not if we take our democracy seriously. But apparently some, including Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean, are eager to allow…

I have to believe that even most Democrats agree that requiring an ID card makes sense. Democrats in the party look totally silly opposing this. Everyone knows how totally easy it is to get an ID card at the DMV, when you are legal.
Very strange how the lefties feel their path to power is by giving citizens of other countries a bunch of stuff, paid for by US citizens. They are taking the “defending the little guy” way way too far.

I think that just by treating the very word Republican like a Four Letter Word, he can make anything sound like a bad idea.
“And now they want to run electricity lines underground so that storms can’t affect them. Which is just another Republican scheme to take jobs away from linemen who’s very livelihoods depends on having to repair lines that are knocked down by storms. Those diabolical Republicans are at it again!”
See how easy it is to make anything sound like a bad idea when you engage in some demagoguery?
I mean, come on–this is a no brainer. How else are you going to make sure that Only legal citizens are voting?
They want to allow fraud and call fraud disenfranchisement so that they get to keep their jobs in places where even fellow Liberals think people like this guy is flippin’ insane.

I meant to write “and call fraud prevention ‘disenfranchisement’…”
