"Mr. Tabatabainejad must have done something to have campus police called in the first place. " Clearly, he wouldn't have been arrested if he weren't guilty. Like the L.A. guy who was beaten by two policemen. If there's another side, UCLA darn well ought to publicize it. It's about time we stopped giving the police a pass every time they gang up on someone. Like the lady in L.A., a few years back, who was shot and killed because she had a screwdriver. Others have been shot with less. At least, though, the survivors get to sue the city and pick up the gold ring. How many policemen does it take to subdue a 23-year old?
