As I recall, Reagan didnt try to dump guziilions we didnt have on the economy, he just lowered taxes, and let Volker rachet down the prime just enough to loosen cash, that was enough to the raging bull in March of 1991.

But we all know that doesnt work does it, Mr OPresident.

one interesting note is the lack of comparison to Reagan. When Reagan took over from Carter inflation was going through the roof, unemployment was high about what it is today, but still no comparison. Cause maybe the approach Reagan took was better than what is going on today.
