		<description>Many years ago, in his prime and hayday, Arthur Godfrey said something along the line of, "I'm an American and proud to pay my taxes.  I'd be just as proud to pay half as much."

Speaking of which, I never met a politician who  couldn't spend every dollar and more he stole from me, but darned few that weren't willing to.</description>

		<description>Speaking of taxes, how about those bloated federal budgets for the last several years? Whatever happened to this fiscal conservatism and small government mindset of the Republicans? Was the party so happy and drunk with the power of controlling the three branches that it gave up two of its most fervently held core beliefs? I hope no Republican incumbants come by my door asking for my vote and expecting a handshake and a  smile: they're going to get a good old fashioned tongue lashing. I hope we see a lot more R challengers to incumbant R seats soon. The current crop has made me ill.</description>
