We make money and don't like high taxes just like a lot of "normal" people. Remember, Benn, this is a BIG state. We have 36,000,000 scattered over 158,000 square miles. In a place this big, you find everything. The reason Arnold is succeeding here is that he is playing to the center on many issues. He HAS to do that if he wants to stay in office. Those conservatives like me who like him where he is understand that if he goes far right he will lose in November and we will be stuck with the union/party hack Phil Angelides for governor. We do not want that. Personally, if Arnold gets re-elected in November and does NOTHING but sit in his office and veto stupid bills coming out of our 60% Democratic Legislature he will have done what we elected him to do.
