In California now, all new vehicles sold in the state beginning in 2009 must have a sticker indicating how much it contributes to global warming. Totally meaningless except to lend legitimacy to the Gore myth.

And yet another example of what kind of insanity occurs when legistlatures spend too much time in session.

"...important sources of seafood..."

And here I thought virtually all the garbage they sell in supermarkets now was farm-raised! Haven't seen too many operating oil wells on fish or shrimp farms lately, but I guess it's not out of the question.

As far as the price of diesel goes, it's nearly a $1000 bill every time I fill now, and thank God the company pays it.

Except they ultimately don't, and the donkeys don't understand that (or maybe they do). The average Joe pays it when he buys anything (literally). It's just another tax on an overtaxed populace, one that doesn't happen to go directly to the guvmint but is a direct result of their regulation, so it is a tax. On everyone, poor and rich but especially middle class, and one the donkeys can't wait to punish us with more. Saving the environment is just an excuse, and a lousy one at that accepted by those gullible enough to believe the liars to begin with.
