Obama's fallout is so disastrous, he only raised $66 million with help from 500,000 new donors.

It's only been ten days, and while McCain/Palins numbers actually appear to be leveling off some, ObamaBiden are still in free fall. That that is beginning to worry some Democratic congressmen i guess is possible.

But why? Beside thea fact the electoral numbers are now getting practically tied. whats the real panic over there. This goes deeper than just Palin,
granted she's a problem for them, being about as far from the stuffy, east coast, post menopausal feminazi babes as you can get. And they WILL try, unsuccessfully, to bring her down; but she's not the real, hidden problem I dont think.

I dont think they have a contingency plan, because;
a) they they dont have any substance;
Bill Clinton had, "Its the economy, stupid", as the Financial Times points out, Obama has "hope and change" those are platitudes, not coherent policies, and

b) they've been acting like its still 2006 and they are running aginst Bush/Cheney. Flash priority message:
  Bush/Cheney aren't running - SURPRISE!

Flash update: McCain is the same guy they all loved for not being afraid of going aginst his own party,
and he just prooved it by picking a running mate that's not afriad of going aginst her own party - SURPRISE AGAIN!

What the hell did they expect?
