what’s a girl to do when today, her bosses boss tells her that she “couldn’t stomach” the July 4th celebration she attended because is was so “sickeningly patriotic” and she could barely endure all the stupid songs and “crap like eagle scouts” and flag waving?

I’ve never been able to comprehend people’s infatuation with communism and socialism. In what country have we ever seen an example where those work ANYWHERE near as well as our system works here?
