State Senate Candidate Announces CRA Endorsement
SANTA ANA – Lupe Moreno, the longtime Santa Ana resident and nationally recognized immigration activist who is running for the Republican nomination in the 34th State Senate District, was unanimously endorsed last night by the California Republican Assembly (CRA), which is the most prominent grassroots conservative Republican organization in the state. Moreno is most grateful for the support and she expects that it will open many doors for her.

In related news, Moreno announced her displeasure with yesterday’s U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee vote, which essentially approved an amnesty guest worker program. “This was one of the worst votes in American history,†said Moreno, who added that, “This vote rewards lawbreakers and sends the wrong message to those who continue to break our laws.â€Â
Moreno also decried the protests that took place in Santa Ana and Los Angeles yesterday. She commented that, “Those students who left their campuses and chose to rampage through Santa Ana should be investigated and suspended. If they took part in attacking bystanders or police officers they should be expelled from their schools and prosecuted for assault.â€Â
