As a non-union public employee, I support this and Arnold's other initiatives but I'm afraid most of these propositions are going down in flames. I moved here last year from VA and I'm amazed at the electorate...they elect a reform candidate but don't really want any of the reforms! They take dopey t.v. ads at face value. It's insane.

Winston,

You're in luck. Your non-union company is not taking money out of your paycheck to fund political activism. And you're not paying membership dues that can be taxed without permission. So, you don't need protection -- except for minimizing the cumbersome state and federal taxes on all the money you're making.

Thanks for your thoughts, and we appreciate your continued readership.

There are no unions at my company. Will this protect me too? I make a lot of money for this place and they support poliitcal policies and lobbyists that I find disgusting. Will this stop my money from funding causes I disagree with?

Prop 75 is a start, but we have bigger fish to fry....every teacher in california is exempt from social security..we need to get them into the system, and start paying their fair share...before it collapses...

CA Sp. Election: Prop75 Information

I support Proposition 75 because it is fair. This proposal will make union leaders more accountable to their members. If everyone in the union stands in solidarity with the political intentions of its leadership, then they will lose no money or politic...

[...] Proposition 75 is about control: Democrats need the media to indoctrinate, handlers to lead, and union bosses to enforce, populate, and control their disaffected base. They rely on Freedom’s foreign and domestic enemies to help them perpetuate the corporate greed mythology. And as long as the media convinces individuals of their powerlessness, Democrats will control their constituency. [...]
