Poizner Hides Behind Prop 77
Somewhere in his compound in Palo Alto, Poizner has to be under his desk in a fetal position. He got held accountable for his actions at the GOP Convention.
It dosen’t stop…
The following is an article from the Sacramento Bee. As misguided as it is, there’s a message from our friend Steve Poizner in it.

An excerpt from the article:
“Some conservatives were also angry that Schwarzenegger appointed Steve Poizner, a Republican insurance commissioner candidate, to head up his Proposition 77 campaign because of Poizner’s past contributions to Democratic candidates.
Conservatives supporting Poizner’s opponents in the insurance commissioner race have created a Web site to “Stop Steve.”

They handed out fortune cookies at this weekend’s convention that contained messages criticizing the Republican candidate’s Democratic contributions.
They also had an activist dressed in a donkey costume to symbolize the Democratic Party. The character wore a T-shirt, saying “Team Poizner.”
“Republican politics can be a tough business,” Poizner said after the donkey confronted him in the hallway. “It’s ugly. It’s unfortunate, and it’s the last thing the Republican Party needs.”
He said he had donated to Democrats because he’s married to a Democrat and wanted to support her and her causes.
While these intraparty skirmishes showed some splits in the GOP, most delegates said they will once again be making the phone calls and knocking on doors to support the governor’s agenda on Nov. 8.
“It seems like whenever we go into an election, we are down in the polls,” said Jon Fleischman, a former state Republican Party executive director. “Republican activists are at their strongest when they are backed into a corner.”
Sounds Biblical, remember some guy named Adam that said “My Wife Made me do it!” I am sorry, Steve… your name is on those checks and reports.
If you wanted to run for office someday, you should have thought your actions through.

We all need to calm down and not worry so much about this little road bump. Steve needs our support. For the uninitiated, it might be hard to understand how important Steve is to the redistricting efforts here in California.
Those of us in the know, know that Steve was President and Founder of Strategic Mapping a company that produced world-class Geography Information System and also sold demographic data and files used to map political geography. Having his expertise can ensure that we have are able to define boundaries more advantageous to the conservative voter.
So let’s quit wringing our hands and get behind Steve, he’s our best hope for a fair, pro-conservative redistricting.
