Inmates & Ex-Cons: Dems go to Lowest Common Denominator to Register Voters

“The San Francisco Department of Elections is reaching out to a class of city residents who may not be aware they can register to vote — jail inmates and former convicts who have completed their prison sentences and parole.

Elections Director John Arntz said he sees the new program as a way to increase registration while honoring inmates’ right to vote.

“As far as the law is concerned, they have as much right to vote as anyone else,” Arntz said.

State law prohibits only those serving time in prison or on parole for a felony conviction from voting, and cancels their voter registration when they are convicted. However, those who have served their sentences and completed parole can reregister.”

At least this isn’t doing registration at a cemetary.

Man, you gotta ask yourself about this Democrat obsession to register convicted criminals… Why do the Dems need to go to the lowest common denominator to get new voters? Is that an admission that they know who votes for them? (don’t get me wrong, convicts who have paid their debt should have their rights back.)

You also have to ask yourself, anytime when there are efforts to eliminate election fraud… the Dems fight it tooth and nail.

Anytime there is an election the Dems lose, they scream disenfranchisement and fraud. Some posters on this blog have promoted the absurd notion that Bush’s 114,000 vote win in Ohio was due to disenfranchisement of minorities. This would have had to have been organized by their Black Secretary of state Ken Blackwell.

What is so ridiculous about providing proof of citizenship everytime you vote? What is so ridiculous about mandating that all branches of County Government talk to each other? The Coroner notifies the Clerk-Recorder of deaths in the county of the deceased residence… when deeds are filed/re-filed people’s registrations should be purged.

I am tired of walking precincts in Modesto and seeing 8 registered Democrats at the address of a Power Transformer, all of whom are likely voters. I am tired of calling voters in the 69th AD in Spanish… seeing that they voted in the 1998 election where Dem Sanchez unseated Bob Dornin only to have them tell me that they are not citizens and they can’t vote because they are afraid of getting deported if they do. (I made calls in the 2002 general in the wake of 9-11).

I can go on and on, I have walked precincts in 70+ cities in 30 California Counties. I have seen so much, It would blow your mind.

Election reform is one of my true passions. That is also why I am outspoken on the border issue… look at that blurb on the 69th AD. The Democrats want to get illegals here put them on Welfare and register them to vote.

I thought the argument was that they will do jobs Americans won’t. Well now that the DNC leadership sees a wedge, they are trying to get to the right of Bush on immigration. How Convenient… given the track record During Clinton’s tenure, one should take the Dems as seriously as the current Administration’s lack of action.

On that note, at the Doolittle evening that I blogged about a couple of weeks ago… Doolittle indicated that the President would be laying out an immigration policy in September. A nation waits and I am looking forward to seeing our President lead on this issue.
