YOu all need to come to the realization that the GOP is going the way of the Whigs. we all see that the incompetance, greed, hate, arrogance, etc.. has done the exact opposite of what KKKarl dreamed of. And now KKKarls dream has turned into your nightmare. the people are not buying what you are selling and you KNOW IT !! Swiftboating is NOT going to work this time. the people know the GOP is filled with liars and money hungry losers who have brought our country to the edge of the abyss. We will take it back, repair it, and bring us back to the leadership role we once had. we will regain our respect, honor, credibility, and dignity under a real leader like Barack Obama.

Excellent post! The problem is the squishes. They always panic. The fact is that when the Republicans took over the House and the Senate, it was led by the House, by Newt Gingrich. Once again, if Republicans are going to get back in the game it is going to be in the House. Certainly not many governors are inspirations. Unless one thinks that Gov. Benedict Arnold is an inspiration. He is Gray Davis with a personality. I really like Eric Cantor. He will be a new leader of the Republican party. And, I agree. Stop the defeatism! So you don’t like Sen. John “F— You” McCain all that much. Just hold your nose and vote for him. Work to get good people elected. People like Tom McClintock to congress. We need to put our energies in getting the defeatists out and the reformers in. After all, the GOP was founded as a reform party. Sometimes, we forget that.
