Blogging For Dollars
CNET reports: “Online news network to pay ‘citizen journalists’”
“[Edgar Canon, chief executive of the San Francisco company, GetLocalNews.com] expects it to work out to about $2 to $5 per 1,000 page views. The company will send checks quarterly to all writers that rack up $25 or more in payments.”
So, with a mere 400,000 page views a month (using $5/1000), you could make $24,000/year (before taxes).
That doesn’t compare to the “Highest Paid Blogger on Earth,” as reviewed by AmericanDigest.
And it sure doesn’t compare to Weblogsinc’s ad revenue surpassing $1000/day, as The BlogHerald reports.
UPDATE: Forget about blogging, I’m gonna start dancing. (See photo above)
