Special Election: Propositions 73, 74, 75, 76 and 77 Are Polling Well
A new poll shows Arnold’s propositions have support. You can read the polls by SureveyUSA here: SureveyUSA concludes:
In an election today, 10/3/05, 36 days to the 11/8/05 vote, California voters approve Proposition 73, Proposition 74, Proposition 75, Proposition 76 and Proposition 77, according to an exclusive SurveyUSA poll of 532 likely voters. Proposition 74, on teacher tenure, passes today by 11 points, 55% to 44%. Propositions 73, 75, 76, and 77 all pass by at least 20 points. Republicans support all 5 Propositions by at least a 57-point margin. Democrats oppose all 5 Propositions by at least a 10-point margin. Support for all 5 measures is strongly tied to approval of Governor Schwarzenegger. Those who approve of the job the Governor is doing, vote overwhelming “Yes” on all 5 Propositions. Those who disapprove of the job the Governor is doing oppose all 5 Propositions. Interest in ballot measures intensifies as the election approaches and ad dollars are spent to influence voters. These numbers can and should be expected to fluctuate, perhaps significantly.

Glad to hear it, but where the heck is the “pro” media? We’re getting creamed out here. By election day the props will have gone the way of the governor’s popularity for the exact same reason… Democrat media buys.

I wouldn’t worry about the MSM. It looks like most Californians have learned to discount it. Look at the key line: “Support for all 5 measures is strongly tied to approval of Governor Schwarzenegger.” You didn’t believe all those MSM polls that had Arnold it trouble, did you? They were just trying to cut the Governor down, and it didn’t work, according to SurveyUSA. The opponents know what the real numbers are. Watch for the unions to circle the wagons and concentrate on saving their meal ticket: union dues.

The recent USA poll showing 20 % support for 4 of Gov Shwarzeneggar’s proposed initiatives and 10 % lead for other proposition is good news but surprizing turnaround. It takes a very informed intellgent electorate to ignore the biased leftist union TV Ad’s and actually READ the propositions line by line. The issue is to bring fairness and balance to a political process which has been heavily tilted in favor of leftist/democrats. The voter’s by and large know that Arnold is the Lone Republican who stands between them and a socialist legislature trying to pass all sorts of extreme radical legislation. I sincerely hope that millions of moderate independents/democrats/republican hard-working citydwellers and suburbanites can take time out from their 3 hr commutes and votes for Arnold and reform.
