Governor Schwarzenegger is hardly the only Republican who was frustrated with the Republican leadership in Congress.

PS... that is not to say I think he should be glad Republicans lost. That only makes sense if one is not a Republican. Maybe he's a Democrat is moderate clothing?

I think Arnold is a fiscal Republican but he doesn't line up with the party platform on moral issues, including the war on terror. I remember his moving speech at the 2004 Republican National Convention, and as much as he admired Ronald Reagan and the hope that conservatism offers the world, he is for abortion, gay rights and other liberal convictions.

While I disagree with most of his views, he has stood firm in upholding the will of the Californian voter in controversial initiatives that he didn't agree with, yet he upheld because it was passed in a vote. That is admirable.

I also think the Republican party should be more conservative, but if we aren't inclusive we won't convert people.

I really think the California Republican Committee ought to disenroll Arnold from the ranks of Republicans.
