I’ll never forget the time a land planner looked at me (in the last 10 years) and said straight-faced, “The land belongs to us but we allow you to use it, providing it fits within our criteria.”

Just like they “allow” me to use the money I earn, I guess.

And this is all crap that is taught in public schools now. No wonder high school grads, on average, can’t correctly answer questions that were easily answered by sophomores 50 years ago.

Thats one of the fundamental issues here Carlos, Potomac fever.

They work for us, they are paid with our money to do no more than the constition asks of them.

Now they think they own the money and allow us to have a certain percentage of what we earn, and do anything they want under the commerce clause, or implied powers.

Those of us who do not buy their “living, breathing document” crap are wackos.

If the jackasses, who’ve been in charge of both houses of Congress the vast majority of the last 50 years (including the last 2-1/2) would quit giving us “fixes” to problems that don’t exist and stretch the law of unintended consequences to its limit, and start listening to folks who really do know something about running their own lives (as opposed to the jackasses who can’t run their own but certainly want to run ours), maybe His Hollowness wouldn’t have to expound on the troubles real people cause him.
