Jesse Jackson Calls NOLA Rebuilding Contracts “White-Collar Looting”
Leave it to Jessay to turn a phrase…
AP reports: “The Rev. Jesse Jackson suggested Sunday that the federal government was encouraging “white-collar looting” by awarding no-bid contracts to favored companies to rebuild hurricane-ravaged areas, rather than giving those displaced by the disaster priority for jobs.”
Very interesting. As Michelle Malkin notes, this coming from “Mr. Shakedown himself.”
In consideration of the massive rebuilding efforts, perhaps Jesse should consult with Mary Landrieu who said in recent televised remarks that Mayor Nagin “had trouble getting his people to work on a sunny day.”
