I had a strange idea. I heard in Europe, something like 60% of girls have plastic surgery before age 18 because for girls, being successful is all about grabbing the best guy you can get. best meaning most affulent. And being physically attractive is naturally the easiest way to snag men.

Where else would she have gotten the audacity of accusing President Bush of putting soldiers into the line of fire for political gain?

Since you’re not (to put it mildly) a fan of Ms. Pelosi, you’re missing the possibility that she says it because she believes it. The president is undertaking this escalation in the face of broad bipartisan opposition. Perhaps he thinks 21,500 additional soldiers will turn the war around, but most people (including most military chiefs, some now being retired) don’t believe that. It looks like a political gamble. If Pelosi thinks it is, she is right to call him on it.

If Hillary wins it will be due to Bush ignoring the vast majority of Americans by continuing to support the military industrial complex. And with all the seats in play in the House in 2008, and the continued sentiment that all things Conservative are bad for American (thanks George) Hillary will be able to accomplish any thing she wants. ANYTHING!
