Melissa Hart was a wild spending politician who created a huge deficit, did nothing about abortion, and protected corrupt and immoral characters like child molester Mark Foley, Jack Abramoff, and Tom DeLay. Furthermore, it was Melissa Hart's anything goes policies that created the mortgage crisis and bailouts of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Bear Stearns. Melissa Hart said she was for lower taxes, but who do you think will pay to bail out these corrupt businesses and pay for the executives' golden parachutes? Middle class taxes, that's who. Jason Altmire has consistently voted for common sense initiatives like the energy plan that included BOTH more drilling AND funding for long term solutions and re-newable energy sources. Jason Altmire and the Democratic House passed a real ethics bill that would keep crooks like Jack Abramoff from selling the government to the highest bidder, but John McCain's Senate Republicans voted against it. What we need is more ethical representatives and smaller government, not free spending liberal Republicans like Melissa Hart who think our taxes are her personal credit card when she's in office, and then talks about reducing spending when she's campaigning. They no longer buy the BS that you guys put out there! You know, you can put lipstick on a pig. It's still a pig. Hart sat on the ethics committee during a time of unprecedented ethical and criminal violations perpetrated by Republicans. What did Hart do? Nothing! She stopped, ignored, and turned a blind eye as long as her party stayed in power. That is not change we can believe in but rather change that will never come again. She was a rubber stamp then and would be again and the great people of the 4th district will not allow that….
