It's not so much that Biden said he and Obama said they did not support Clean Coal; it's WHERE he said it - in Coal Country! West Virgina, Ohio's next door neighbor, is COAL! Kentucky is a close 2nd. Then again, Biden, nor any of the Democrats have any worries, especially about the Coal Miners.
