If Palin is your greatest hope, then the Democrats will be in power for a long, good time. Sure she electrifies the conservative base, but she also serves as a repellent for the centrists which decided this election. Good luck, anyway.

She is a great believer of the idea that the Conservative Politics are the will of our God.

Even if God had no hand in our politics, I’d still pray that Palin either not be elected to the highest office or ask God to help her shape up. It boggles my mind how someone who believes that God bestowed such an honorable position would lie, dodge, and hope that holding a smile and reciting a few lines could get her anywhere.

Even as a Republican, Palin was the reason why I did NOT vote for McCain.

I agree that Palin can come back for 2012. she’s proved she can withstand the heat of national politics and then some. she should focus on doing good things in alaska and on energy AND she should hire a bad*ss PR specialist to help combat the attacks. she does need to stay on the national scene thoough..she can’t disappear into the night. Sara only has to ignore these poor fools, go back to Alaska, hone her skills running that piece of God’s country and polish her folksy north central, “you betcha” accent into the same convincing manner we heard when she was on her own at the convention, and listen to recordings of the way Raegan educated people as well as poke fun at his competition when he spoke.

If Obama can the first black President, and lets face it, we can all be proud of him for that. She can damned well be the first woman.

Sarah wanted to win,I don’t know what John wanted, He talked like he was telling a bed time story.There was no fire in his speeches, no iron in his words. He was like a kid begging the big guys to let him play. If this was the Rep. campaign stratagy it’s no wonder they couldn’t get along with Sarah.

After giving regularly to the Republican Party since Reagan’s time, I stopped giving in 2005 when Tom Delay said that the federal budget had been “cut to the bone”. I gave again the day after Sarah Palin was named as the VP nominee. Give me Sarah Palin and Bobby Jindal in 2012, and I don’t care in which order. We need conservative reformers, not inside-the-beltway horsetraders.

Even though I cast my vote for John McCain, I was really viewing it as “I’ll suffer 4 or 8 years of McCain to give Palin a shot at the office.” Well, it was a nice try….

Now, election over, I want a Republican Party renewal. I want the corrupt, the arrogant and the RINOs out of the Party of Reagan. I want us back to our conservative roots. I want vision, optimism and big plans. 2010 will be here soon, and we need to stage a repeat of 1994.

And in 2012, I want Palin at the top of the ticket.

I am not sure how someone who was viewed unfavorably by 57% or so of likely voters helped McCain. Energized the base? Who care — the whack o christian right wing is only about 20% of the country. By all means, purge the only sensible people in the Republican party, they will probably shuffle on over to the Democrats, just like what happened in 2006. Dems will take the south back soon, Georgia and Lousianna, maybe Mississippi will go for Dems in 2012 (if Obama does what he is supposed to do, I mean) and the North Plains will go for Dems too — South and North Dakota and Montana. The only reason McCain won Arizona is because is from there — Dems may even win West Virgiana, though I wouldnt put money on it. The only states left for Republicans are Alabama, Oklahamo and Kansas.

I’m receiving many follow-up ‘polls’ from a variety of online sources asking whom did I vote for. I check the ‘other’ box and insert “PALIN” with the explaination she was the only reason I voted for the McLame campaign. John McCain was not well-served by his staffers and it’s becoming obvious in every news cycle. Based on these relevations I can only begin to imagine the 4-yr nightmare if McLame had won. I’d really be surprised if he’s capable of being re-elected to the Senate. To turn such a blind eye by trusting his staffers like he apparently did tells me he had no clue to resolving our nation’s problems and Obama was right to say McLame would have been more of the same. Why Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, for starters, aren’t facing criminal charges for this financial crisis is beyond my imagination.. but that’s another comment for another blogspot. I hope Sarah Palin says ‘to hell with you all’ and stays in Alaska to do the kind of good work she’s known for doing. Her treatment by the liberal media (nothing main-stream about those elitists) in the past 90 days has been totally out-of-bounds and it shames me to have a journalism degree. Good luck Sarah, and thanks.

I don’t think it’s Mitt Romney behind these attacks. Mitt has already said he won’t run again. This last time was the ‘one shot’ deal for him.

I think it’s Huckabee. Him and his band of merry ultra-conservatives who believe a woman’s place is at home with 5 kids not in politics.

McCain was never ‘republican’ enough for many of the Huckabee crowd. If I have to hear Ann Coulter say one more time how McCain is really a ‘democrat’ I’ll lose my mind. McCain wasn’t everyone’s ideal true, but he was the last candidate standing and should have had complete support of every single republican. This was not the year for anyone who had a gripe to stay home. Now we have Obama and many within the republican party all too happy to smear Sarah Palin. For shame people, for shame!

Ahh, your hunch regarding the backstabbers is correct, Mr. Gross. Romney’s staffers were mostly Mormons, and Mormons are sore losers and whiners without equal.

Nevertheless, thank you McCrazy for picking Palin! McNuts saved the country, if not the world, and while Palin was not the “straw the broke the camel’s back” — that was McSame’s crash-landing in DC to screw up the bailout bill and cost us taxpayers an additional $160 billion — she certainly weighed heavily on that poor camel’s back.

Well, that and spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on clothes at Needless Markup at the RNC’s expense.

Being a Christian and who strongly believes that this Nation has fallen so far from God, the sanctity of life, marriage, having our religious rights stripped away one by one - I was so encouraged and delighted to see a woman like Sarah Palin rise up and not be afraid to stand up and defend her opinion on being Pro-Life, and the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman. She was a breath of fresh air to this Nation, and I pray that she will some day arise to the position that this country so desperately needs as to be Commander and Cheif - President of this Nation in the very near future. She has made all conservatives look deep inside ourselves and the Republican Party, and I believe we realize that Ronald Reagan’s conservatism is what this nation needs. I can only truely hope that the Repukes go in the direction of having Palin run for President in 12′, as the one poster here said. This is because that IF she manages to get the nomination, it will ensure the Repukes aren’t in the White House for another 4 yrs. It would also further the Repukes wayward drift to the far religious right, which in turn will make the party go away to the fringes of the political arena. This will allow the moderates to form a new party, one that hopefully will include the moderates from the Dumbos, and give this country not only a viable 3rd party, but one that will actually serve a large majority of the citizens of this country, FROM THE MIDDLE!!!!!
