Your right, the whole country is just a few days short of being on the steets, because that goddamed Bush didnt even have the decency to take some of us by the hand away from our oversized TV's to do a little 6th grade math before signing the bottom line on the jumbo mortgages they shouldn't have had in the first place.

But hey, if oil profits and corporate greed upset you so much, you ought to be as happy as a shit worm in the sewer with Fannie and Freddie about to go under.

And yes, the war in Iraq isn't even being discussed anymore by the media...because we're WINNING it. We're winning to the degree that we're even preparing to turn it all over to the Iraqis and start withdrawing our troops. Nancy Pelosi and Congress's problem is, they promised ACTION. Instead, we have the least productive, most unpopular Congress in American history.

And now that they've come back from a month-long vacation, what has Speaker Pelosi put on the agenda this week? Critical items such as...naming two post offices and two federal court buildings. But their grueling schedule doesn't end there. They are also tackling the hotly discussed issue of H.R. 3036 - the "No Child Left Inside Act of 2008". A resolution to encourage kids to go outside and play. Finally! They will also wrestle with the one of the biggest topics of our time... H.R. 3667, the "Missiquoi and Trout Rivers Wild and Scenic River Study Act of 2008". How have we EVER survived these last 232 year with out that!

Course with all that hectic overloaded calendar, there is of course, no time to get into something as frivolous as drilling off shore, or dealing with the billions we're sending to terrorist supporting nations overseas to buy oil.

We’re in the middle of a near total mortgage system meltdown in this country. We have a health care system that burns 16 percent of our GDP, in which the Medicare liability alone has been estimated at $34 trillion. We’re burning $10 billion a month in Iraq.
On top of this the Bush (your) administration has run up $7.7 trillion in national debt. And all this website keeps talking about is drilling here and now.
