Firefighters Criticize Giuliani; Giuliani Fights Back
According to this article, the IAFF “has gone on the offensive against Rudy Giuliani.”
Here’s the opening paragraph of the article:
The International Association of Firefighters has gone on the offensive against “America’s Mayor” Rudy Giuliani, releasing a 13-minute video that viciously rips into the former New York mayor, who has been using his leadership demonstrated on September 11th to urge people around the country to support him in his quest to become President of the United States.
After going on the offensive against Mayor Giuliani, though, the IAFF found out that Giuliani hits back hard:
Former New York firefighter Lee Ielpi, whose son died on Sept. 11, and former Office of Emergency Management Commissioner Richard Sheirer appeared with McKeon, calling the video full of “half-truths.”
“I was there. I saw it. I experienced it,” said Ielpi, who worked at ground zero for the nine-month cleanup. “I’m not going to let lies like this go.”
Undeterred, Harold Schaitberger, the general president of IAFF, said this:
“Giuliani’s biggest problem is that this video is a bipartisan condemnation of his record on 9/11,” Schaitberger said.
Schaitberger’s video won’t change anyone’s minds because they saw the leadership showed after 9/11. The only time that negative ads have an effect is when they re-enforce a previously held view or when they’re run against an unknown. Trying to undo the public image of someone that is world-famous is almost impossible. I don’t know how much money the IAFF spent on this but, whatever it was, they spent too much.
The 13-minute video was being distributed to the union’s 280,000 members, to the media and online. Still, it’s too soon to assess the political fallout from the video; it will all depend on how many people view it and take it seriously.
It isn’t too soon to assess the political fallout of this garbage. This will backfire on the IAFF and on Mr. Schaitberger. This reporter is right in saying it depends on “how many people view it and take it seriously.” I don’t care how many people see it, they won’t take it seriously. It’s that simple.

If it’s from NY or California it will NEVER get my vote. Giulliani is nothing more than a Lberal hiding behind conservatism. Big Gov and Big taxes is all this guy is about.

Did you hear the story about the guy who drove into NY with his dog. He leaves his window cracked for ventilation. He comes back awhile later to find his car stolen. The dog, which was left by the criminal, was soon captured by the NY dog catcher which notified the owner. The pet police refused to turn over the animal until they neutered it. The owner, outraged refused and was told the animal would be destroyed if he did not comply. He hired a lawyer, the court TOLD the dog police to give the animal back. The dog Police still upset that there little mini dictatorship was being told to release the animal refused unless the owner posted a 10,000 dollar bail. I dont recall if the judge waived this or not but as you can see NY is an out of control beuracracy that WILL infect the rest of the USA if we let that Giullianicrat gain the presidency. We need the exact opposite of Giulliani and the giant corrutacrat beuracracies he is so in favor of.
Here in Califonria, hot on the heels of the “Spanking” ban we have a State that wants to require EVERY animal get spay/neutered. Fortunatly thanks to Timmy and Lassie’s kin that bill was defeated for the moment. If Bob Barker and Company want to recommend spay/neuter thats fine, but when they try to make it LAW Im outraged!
Get the hell out of my House, my car, my mouth, my doctors office, my insurance company, my bedroom, my bathroom, my kitchen you bunch of micromanaging corrutacrats.

One other little story about pets and the beuracracy.
In 1996 I had to put down my pal Dee2 (a great bassett hound). Being a responsible pet owner I had all of his shots and licensed him yearly. In 1997 I get a letter from Santa Clara Animal Control saying I owed them $70 (the licence itself was $9). I call and ask why Im being charged a fee’d for a dead aminal. The stinking little corruptacrat on the other end said I was past due renewing my dogs license. I explained my dog was dead for quite some time. He tells me I have to gather evidence my dog had died and fax him this info. Icredulously I refused. Now Ivr got a collection on my credit report for a dog that has been long since dead and was fully legal his entire life. Needless to say my current dog will NEVER be licensed! the really sad part is they don’t even realize how damaging these people are to the pets they are supposedly trying to protect that now dont get the required shots due to expense and corruption.
Wait till I tell you where the cSanta Clara ounty is forcing me to move into or else they will lien my home. My god folks wake up before it’s too late.

Benito will never get the GOP nomination. Most conservatives will either vote for The CP candidate or won’t vote at all. Some conservatives I’ve heard are so mad at the GOP they may vote for Hillary.
Romney might win the nomination, but unless he picks a real conservative running mate from the South, Hillary will win.
The GOP is running a bunch of losers (McCain has never won anything and is a failed Senator from the Invasion state and Benito has never gone past mayor. Romney is a lying s.o.b. who has flip-flopped on every issue and cannot be trusted). The only hope for the GOP is to tell these losers to get lost and for the Party to get behind one of the two real conservatives still standing. Otherwise, it’s President Hillary and Bill, again.
